Key Information
Please find below a copy of the OFSTED report from our recent inspection on 13th March 2018.
I am delighted that the report recognises and confirms what our self –evaluation processes have already told us about the school . It celebrates the wider aspects of school life, the ‘fun lessons’ and sport and not just the academic attainment, whilst still being aspirational for our pupils. As a school we know what we need to do over the next few years to make further improvements, notably, ensuring more pupils reach the greater depth standard at the end of key stage 2 and ensure that no children, especially disadvantaged children, fall below the statutory national 90% attendance target.
I am very proud of all Weaver Primary School staff , governors and pupils who have worked hard to achieve this wonderful report. The children were a credit to you and the school, consistently displaying their good manners, excellent behaviour and noticeable work ethic. I would also like to thank you, the parents, for your overwhelming support of the work of the school and for your supportive comments on parent view and those made in person to myself and staff before and during the inspection. We are well placed to continue making good progress and ensuring the very best education for your children.
Kind Regards
Mrs Gill Price
