A warm 'Weaver' welcome from Mrs Johnson our Headteacher

It is a real privilege to welcome you to Weaver Primary School – a truly special place that has been close to my heart for many years. My own family members have either worked at, or attended Weaver for over 30 years, and I am incredibly proud to now lead the school as Headteacher.

Weaver School is more than just a place of learning – it is a community built on strong relationships and shared values.  We often talk about the “Weaver Family,” and that sense of belonging is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud of the strong partnerships we have with our families and the wider community, which help every child feel supported and valued.

Our school is underpinned by the core values of respect, responsibility and resilience. These values guide our expectations, shape our curriculum, and help our children grow into confident and caring individuals.

We place a strong emphasis on the well-being of every child. Our caring and dedicated staff work hard to create a happy, safe and inclusive environment where children can thrive both personally and academically.

At Weaver, we are passionate about supporting and inspiring each child on their learning journey. We offer a broad and engaging curriculum that not only builds strong foundations in reading, writing and maths, but also fosters curiosity and creativity, while encouraging independence and a love of learning. We aim to prepare children with the skills they need to succeed in the modern world—equipping them not just for the next stage of education, but for life.

Mrs Charlotte Johnson
