Children's Mental Health Week 2021 - Express Yourself

Children's Mental Health and Wellbeing is something that is very important to us at Weaver.

During these very challanging times, managing our mental health has never been so important.

This is why we are pleased to be supporting this year's Place2Be's Children's Mental Health Week 2021 - (1st - 7th February).

The theme of this year's mental health week is EXPRESS YOURSELF!

We are all able to express ourselves in lots of different ways and it's this expression of ourselves that makes us who we are.

As human beings, we are all unique.

We each have our own likes and dislikes.

We have different interests and hobbies.

We have qualities and strengths to be proud of.

All these things make you, you and me, me.

We can express ourselves in...

  • the way that we dress
  • the way we style our hair
  • music
  • drama
  • art
  • writing
  • crafts
  • sport
  • dance

So on this page, to help you express yourself, there are links to activities that you may wish to try at home.

You could do some mindfulness colouring, play charades, play a 'What am I?' game, make a musical instrument...there is so much to choose from!

The links below are links to fun art and craft ideas - including 'The Squiggle Game' and origami crafts
