Home Learning 11.05.20

Hi class 5, I do hope you and your families are all well and safe. I have so enjoyed the photos which you have been putting on Twitter showing me your work and all the super activities you have been doing. Some of you are turning into brilliant artists and master bakers. You are learning new and important life skills which is brilliant. Here is an outline of the work for this week.

Do a daily lesson using The National Oaks Academy.

This week is learning all about diary entries. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

BBC Bitesize also has daily lessons. This week is writing a report.

If you are having trouble accessing technology, look at Literacy Counts, Talk for Writing or The Hamilton Trust files below. Hamilton Trust this week includes work on relative clauses. Have a look at the audio powerpoint as good revision.

Remember to use Spelling Frame. I have set up another group of Homophone words. Remember to practise and then do the test.

Try a daily lesson using White Rose Maths. It looks a bit different but still has the videos to watch. Also, you can access the worksheets and answers.

BBC Bitesize also has lots of learning videos on area of shapes this week.

Don't forget to do short practises on TTRockstars and Mathletics.

This week's project, as a follow on from VE Day, is based on Colonel Tom Moore.

BBC Bitesize and Oak National Academy also have lessons on the foundation subjects.
