Hello team, it was lovely to see so many of you on the Zoom get together on Friday. If you didn't make this one, I will do another one soon and can't wait to see you all.
English Home Learning
The Oak National Academy- This week focuses on Newspaper Reports including comprehension, Key Features, SPaG and writing. The SPaG lesson on Thursday revises direct and indirect speech so very useful.
Alternatively, use your comprehension or Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar book. Also, Hamilton Trust is available below.
This week there is a new rule on Spelling Frame linked to using ei after the letter c. Do remember to log in and to do the test after practising. You've got this. Sir Linkalot is no longer free to access. You can still sign up for a short free trial.

White Rose - This week is work on angles. It includes learning how to use a protractor. If you do not have one, you will still be able to do most of the work. As there are new concepts involved this week, you may want to ask for some support from an older sibling or parent.
It is the start of Children's Art Week which is run by Engage - the National Association for Gallery Education. During this time, schools, art galleries, museums and community groups are encouraged to plan and provide art activities.
Below you will find a PowerPoint, fact sheet and activity sheet linked to the artist Van Gogh. I would love to see any art you do so remember to tweet or e-mail.
Continuing with our Greek topic, you could find out about Greek art and sculpture. What patterns and pictures were used on Greek pots? Enjoy researching.
This week there is a PHSE lesson linked to Black Lives Matter. A great way to support discussions on racism and bias.
Keep enjoying your learning. Have a great week and stay safe.
